Monday Morning Margarita

Happy Monday!

Each of us has at least one unique talent, a “secret sauce,” something we’re not just good, but GREAT at. And when we use our God-given talent, we really shine. We help people–we bring joy, comfort or hope to others; we demonstrate kindness, generosity and love. And in so doing, we learn, grow and enrich our own lives, so that we may continue to serve the world in small but meaningful ways.

Why is this so? Because it was intended that way!

Why is this important? Because it tells us we already have the key ingredients needed to be happy, and to live the lives we dream of.

Why, then, do we often spend more time focused on what we lack? Would it not be much more beneficial to 1) make sure we know what our unique talents are, and 2) make sure we’re taking full advantage of them?

What a shame it would be to squander our gifts, instead of USING them to the full extent of our capabilities.

If you’re not using your God-given talents, why? Don’t you know the world’s waiting for you?
