Monday Morning Margarita

Pimpin’ ain’t the only thing that ain’t easy….

No, I’m not making light of, nor do I condone, pimpin’. However, in the context on my third attempt to resurrect what I’d initially hoped would be a thriving blog community, it seemed à propos.  

First and foremost, happy Monday! Today is as good a day as any to be truly be amazing; so, without further ado, make it happen!

Let’s see… What’s happened since my last post? Too much to cover in a single post, so I’ll take baby steps. At present, I’ll be happy if I can manage to post consistently, let alone clue you in on all the details.

Well, I still work for the government, and it’s an okay gig. Much to my surprise, it’s not too different from the private sector. Suffice it to say I came to learn I respect/can understand the profit motive far more than I can the ego motive. (Corporate profiteers are nothing compared to the egos of some of the highest ranking government officials!)

I’m extremely grateful that I love what I do. Otherwise, the minimum 25 hours per week I spend commuting to my J.O.B. wouldn’t be worth it. And, I learn something new every day. In fact, I’ve racked up quite an arsenal of ahas, which I hope to share with you–provided I have the discipline to get this blog thing right. (Like I said, pimpin’ ain’t the only thing that ain’t easy.)

Much to my surprise, a few people have sought my advice on topics that directly relate to my purpose for starting this blog, So, I’ll try–FOR THE THIRD TIME–to get this thing off the ground and make something valuable of it, by both responding to those inquiries, and flavoring it with the seasonings of my own experiences.
