Monday Morning Margarita

Happy Monday!

Things have been a little hectic lately. I’ve got a lot going on, and I’ve been finding it hard to focus. I’m not overwhelmed, but I’m all over the place…

Fortunately for me, the old adage, “keep it simple stupid,” keeps ringing in my ears. And you know what? I’m listening and taking heed.

Simply put (no pun intended), I, like many, have a tendency to get unnecessarily bogged down in the minutiae. Keeping it simple forces me to focus on basics and what’s most important, so there’s less likelihood I get sidetracked, or overwhelmed. (You know, don’t sweat the small stuff–and it’s all small stuff.)

This week, I’m getting my simple on. To the extent needed, I encourage you to do the same. It makes things so much easier. And who doesn’t appreciate easy?

Sidebar… I noticed the recent trend has been to drop the last S in KISS, and go with “keep it simple”–probably because it’s more politically correct. But I rather like the last S. It reminds me that it’s really a no-brainer. You know, like “duh??” So I’m keeping it!
